NSL Submarine Warfare Essay Award
The NSL provides a $500 annual prize to a student at the Naval War College for the best essay or technical paper on a subject related to submarine warfare. A wide range of topics are eligible, including submarine operations, strategic submarine warfare, support to submarine warfare such as construction, training or logistics, and innovative advances in submarine warfare such as Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. Eligible topics are not limited to the U.S. submarine force and may cover past, current, and future operations. The winning paper may be published in The Submarine Review.
